With an innate grasp of personalization and self-taught talent, Sean Cook, better known as Dr.Stitch, delivers unparalleled custom tailoring and alterations that represent you - and only you. A firm believer in never compromising fit for style, Sean began sewing in 2010, after noticing the lack of fashion that truly fit his own body type. Taking matters into his own hands, Sean opted to stop spending money on frequent garment alterations at the cleaners and began to self-teach sewing techniques online, while also taking a few courses at local sewing shops. He implemented his craft to rare vintage finds and select pieces from thrift stores, using his body to master his customization skills. Showcasing his precise adaptation of his own body through alterations, Sean’s friends began to take notice of his keen understanding of distinct body forms. Soon enough, they began requesting his expertise for their own tailoring and alteration needs - leading to an expanded community of loyal clients that sought his appreciation for perfect fit. Amongst Dr. Stitch’s extensive list of clientele are renowned artists and celebrities including Missy Elliot, Ledisi, K.Michelle, Lee Lee of SWV, Kirby, Tye Tribbett, Casey J, Vashawn Mitchell, J.J. Hairston and Youthful Praise.

Taking his talents just a step further, Dr.Stitch has recently begun to apply his design lens to a brand new line of coats, including a bespoke option for those who seek elevated customization - a testament to what he knows best.
