How are YOU wearing your jeans?
We think we know how to wear our jeans - but, do we really? As a rule of thumb, the waist of your jeans (that should fit around your mid to upper hips) sits lower than on dress pants. Despite what a trend may glorify, your jeans should not go below that area. And, as far as your waist size is concerned, take those numbers with a true grain of salt. Vanity sizing is a real thing and the 36 you wore last year, might be totally different this year. The stretch in fabric, new design styles and even inconsistencies in construction amongst a specific brand can change the size you thought you should purchase. Although it may be a hassle, it is crucial to try on pants every single time.
