What is an alteration?
Alterations simply means the act of modifying existing garments to give you the perfect fit, based on your individual body type and sizing specifications.

What type of alterations do you specialize in?
Dr. Stitch specializes in nearly all facets of tailoring, including basic modifications such as a hem or tapering, as well as more dedicated, customizable services such as removing, adding, or repurposing garment elements (ie. sleeves, tuxedo stripes, fringe and more).

Does a garment have to be expensive in order to be altered?
It doesn't matter where the garment comes from or how much it costs, Dr. Stitch treats all clothing with the utmost care and precision. He implements his expertise and personalized approach when tailoring all garments.

What can I expect from an in-person specialized tailoring consultation?
All in-person consultations include an assessment of complexity, construction, layers, and material/fabrics of the garments being altered. From there, Dr. Stitch shares his suggested modifications and, upon discussion of his analysis, begins to execute on the garments.

Returns and Refunds Policy
Items may be returned if they are unworn and in their original condition. Items must be returned within 21 days of the item being delivered to you and a full refund will be given by way of the original payment method. We aim to refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item.

We do not accept returns for unwanted items after the relevant returns period above. If you try to make a return, we may have to send it back to your default delivery.
Any items marked “Final Sale” have been discounted and are not eligible for returns, exchanges, or refunds.

We do not offer exchanges on orders. If you would like a different size or color, please return your unwanted item and place a new order.

Shipping Policy
Delivery takes 7-10 business days* - excluding weekends and public holidays (excluding custom orders) from the time an order has been received and processed.

Email notifications will be provided for order and shipping confirmations.
​
If your order has been sent with a trackable service you'll be emailed a tracking link once your package has been shipped.
